Lux Solutions Energy Services Process
The below process defines the big-picture steps involved in successfully identifying and implementing energy conservation and generation projects. Each facility and facility type is unique and must be looked at as an individual project when creating and developing an integrated energy plan to optimize savings and avoid wasted costs on processes or technologies that ultimately cancel each other out.
Discovery Phase: Customer Interview, information intake form, review of interval data and load profile, presentation of initial findings and project feasibility
Implementation Plan: Development of implementation plan with optimization and prioritization of opportunities in order to maximize savings while minimizing the investment. Includes estimated budget, ROI, and project scheduling
Customer Engagement: Review of initial findings and recommendation with discussion around each of the conservation and generation services. Determination of whether to engage Lux Solutions for the auditing, design, management, and implementation of energy services
RFP Development: Develop and prepare RFPs and scopes of work for each opportunity along with management of the RFP process with criteria and rubrics for evaluating each proposal. Recommendations will be discussed with customer prior to selection.
Facility Audit: Onsite audit to verify scope and gather detailed information required for more precise modeling and projection of energy savings and projected ROIs
Project Management and Implementation: Direct oversight, management, and process controls for implementation of each energy conservation and generation project.
Opportunity Identification: Presentation and evaluation of the estimated savings and ROI by each conservation and generation opportunity identified through the on-site audit(s).
Post-Project Analysis: Ongoing analysis and monitoring of each conservation and generation project for measurement and verification and ongoing performance
